What made you start personal training at TPP?
Having trained at different gyms on my own before without achieving my goals, I needed a change of approach. I really liked the sound of TPP as it offered a perfect compromise between having personal training expertise on hand without the expense of one to one coaching.
Can you describe how you were feeling physically and mentally before coming to TPP?
I was feeling that despite wanting to commit and put the effort into achieving my goals, I was totally confused as to what I should be doing. I think this confusion was caused by the fact that there is so much misinformation and conflicting advice online. I wasn’t particularly confident about my body image prior to joining TPP.
What did you want to achieve with TPP?
My original goal was fairly modest in that I just wanted to improve my physique by cutting some body fat, but I also wanted to learn about training and nutrition. My goals became more focused after joining TPP when I realised that achieving the physique I wanted was possible and age was not really a major factor.
What results have you seen whilst Personal Training with TPP?
Amazing results that I never thought possible. If someone told me before I joined TPP that I’d be doing a photo shoot within a year, I wouldn’t have believed them.
What has been your motivation throughout your journey?
Initially, my motivation was seeing volume increase in the gym and then I was motivated by the physical changes that started to happen and the way I started to feel mentally. Having a goal like a photo shoot really helped me focus on my objective too. The really good thing about TPP is having someone to be accountable to and I found this to be a good motivator too.
How would you describe your training sessions and the intensity?
The sessions are great and the trainers are expert in tuning the effort to an individual, ensuring that you are being pushed just to the right level that enables progress. There is a great sense of community at TPP and everyone supports each other through the sessions.
Is there anything you’d change if you could do it all over again?
I can honestly say the formula at TPP is spot on. It is a great environment to train in and it is why I have been a member for over a year, where at other gyms I lasted a couple of months at best before giving up.
Would you recommend TPP and why?
Absolutely. Despite meeting my initial objectives, I’m still training at TPP. The reasons for this are;
– Knowledgeable and friendly trainers.
– Great community.
– Brilliant advice, which is simple to understand and follow allowing continual learning. This was a key factor for me, helping to lift the fog on so many areas of confusion.
– Excellent training environment.
